Travel to Dubai? Be weary of high costing charges




To avoid bill shocks with travel to the United Arab of Emerates, it is best to double check with your network first to ensure it is covered under their version of a WorldWide 24 hour usage pass. This is where you pay a one-off charge for 24 hours usage of calls, text and data, preventing or at least greatly reducing the risk of bill shocks!

Vodafone are one of the networks that do not curently offer any 24 hour pass to help reduce these costs. Instead, you are charged per messesge, call and megabyte. O2, on the otherhand, inlcude Dubai within their 24 Hour pass bolt-on that is normallyadded to all new connections.
