Dr Mobile: Advice for premium text charges

Do you find you are getting charges on your bills that you have no idea what they are from. One example is from a business that reported charges coming from the number 64502.

I have looked online with this code 64502 and that the company is linked to a phone/text competition that charges you with a text that enters you into a draw. A lot of people online have reported that they have no recollection of signing up to this!? There is a number to call them to make a complaint and to be removed from their list;

You can also stop the messages by sending the word “STOP” to the same number. This does not always work and so as a last resort, I would recommend calling PhonepayPlus to report your complaint. www.phonepayplus.org.uk.
