Vodafone Update: Worldwide roaming fees changed
Vodafone would like to inform everyone of
two main changes being implemented into Worldwide Billing on Vodafone this
October 2016.
They are introducing new standard roaming costs alongside a new
zoning structure.
New standard roaming costs
Daisy will be implementing rate changes in
Europe Zone 1 and Europe Zone 2 as of the 1st November 2016. Asia
Pacific, US & Canada and Rest of World Zones will take effect as of the
16th October 2016. Roaming calls will now be adjusted in line with
the charging categories below:

Note: Calls from the UK to
overseas destinations are charged at International Calling rates.
New zoning structure
There are a number of changes to various
destinations and zones whilst roaming. Vodafone clients will see these
changes occur between the 16th October and 1st November 2016, as it is rolled t to all users.
Changes to Roaming Zones - The following
countries will move from Rest of World Zone 1 to Rest of World Zone 2:
Belize, Bhutan, Burundi, Comoros, Cook Islands, Cuba, Djibouti, Equatorial
Guinea, Ethiopia, Laos, Madagascar, Maldives, Sao Tome and Principe, Solomon
Islands, Turkmenistan. In addition, a new Asia Pacific Zone will be
introduced, details can be found in appendix below.
Changes to our Aerospace &
Maritime services - The cost of using your phone when in the air or at sea will
also increase:
