Dr Mobile: How to carry out a soft reset for your iPhone 7

The method found with previous iPhone handsets to carry out a soft reset has changed.

If you have the new iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus and need to carry out a soft reset, you can no longer hold down the Home Button and Power buttons at the same time. This is mainly due to the new style Home Button Apple have placed on the device. If you do try this, all you will get is a lovely screenshot when you release the buttons.

How do I reset my iPhone 7?

To do a reset as you have been used to, press and hold the Power Button and the Volume Down key for about 10 seconds until the Apple Logo appears.
