Apple release update to IOS 11 error

"Cannot Send Mail. The message was rejected by the server"

Well, you are not alone!

The good news is that Apple has already released an update for IOS 11 (11.0.1), giving the advice that if you have experienced the following message when trying to send emails, you should download the update now!

‘Cannot Send Mail. The message was rejected by the server’ – this is/was specific to Mail accounts hosted by Outlook.com, Office 365 and certain other Exchange Server 2106 Configurations.

There was also a noticeable battery drain after installing IOS11 and though it’s not been highlighted in the release notes, the latest update looks like that has improved that issue a lot (many iPhones in this office have shown an improvement already!)

There are also reports the iPhone 8 is suffering from static on calls giving a crackling noise – a supposed fix for this is already being worked on should you experience this when your shiny new phone arrives.
